Previously, Free Thoughts posted an article regarding corporate corruption and injustices. (See FT issue 7)
Fear...That is Regina's weakness. Fear is what keeps Regina in the strangle hold of corruption and oppression. Fear of what might happen...Fear of rocking the boat. Fear of making things worse. Fear of being noticed. So many times the phrase Better the devil you know has been uttered. It is hard to imagine a different devil being worse than the ones we already know. What about trying to make things better? What about the possibility that change is required to make improvements. Yes, changes are sometimes risky. But how much is our freedom worth? How much of Regina's freedom has been purchased by the blood of our young? How much of our freedom are we willing to give up for the sake of "The devil we know"? Only the people who wish to keep the status quo are the ones who don't want change. These people don't want to make things better for the populace. They just want to hang on to what they have or to make more or to gain more power over our lives. None of these people have any interest in making our lives better unless they have something to gain by it. Most of them don't.
What difference does it make if the oppressor has a crown, or a huge stock portfolio? The oppression is still the same.
Previously Free Thoughts argued that Corina Armstrong was not yet willing to use her voice against the black hearts of the mega-corporations. It now seems that Corina's voice will not be so loud when seeking that justice. Perhaps justice from the corporations is not to her liking. Perhaps, as we previously thought, she is not willing to seek the same justice for her "people" as she sought for herself. Perhaps her "mistake" was not committing herself to the people of Regina as much as |
she vowed to do. Just because Corina Armstrong has achieved her goal of becoming the Duchess of Regina does not mean that "her" people are free.
The writers of Free Thoughts perhaps speak for as many people as Corina did when she was off on her rampage against the Imperium. We still haven't heard that voice cry out against the corporate oppression of the people.
I ask you this. How much worse can it really get? Oh sure, the powers that be could close the doors of the free press. They could claim we were acting against the better interests of Regina and it's people. But if that happens then who will speak up for those that are to afraid to speak up for themselves?
I'll tell you... No one. You will be subjected to a loss of freedoms with each passing day. The government that we struggle so hard to obtain will become as corrupt as any corporation. The people will no longer have that voice or that champion to save them. We will be slaves... Cheap labor, expendable, property of the CEO's and CFO's and Board of Directors of the corporations that want to strip our planet, our lives, of any semblance of humanity, in any of it's forms. We will become the automatons of the corporate leaders and their flunkies.
It's time. Time to show the corporations and those that run them that they cannot intimidate us. They cannot keep us quiet. We will not hide our heads in fear. We will fight for our freedom.
As long as there is one voice to scream in outrage of the injustices that these organizations perpetrate upon the people...
They will be the ones in fear.
They will be the ones who must live in darkness.
They will be the ones who will commit Regina suicide.
Never let that one voice be stamped out.
