What could drive a woman of Corina Ling-Raleigh's station and wealth to this kind of behaviour? Granted, the "rich are different", but was this just a perverted little game to while away a few idle hours, or is it just that we have failed to recognize the other signs of a desperately lonely heart? What inner demons does the well-bred, self-assured exterior hide? Our own consulting psychologist, Dr. Vladimir Ivanovich, expressed grave concerns for the Regent's mental health: Dr. Ivanovich declined to speculate any further at this time. The Tattler will keep its readers informed of future developments in this potential tragedy. Witnesses have given the Tattler consistent descriptions of what these mutant Vargrs are like: taller and larger than a normal Vargr, with subtle stripes for camouflage, and "fluffy" hyper-fur for protection against temperature variations and hard vacuum. At least two of these creatures were seen the night of the "incident" at SuSAG, both inside on level 2, and on the outside of the station - without a vac suit! What other experiments has SuSAG been up to? Is it possible that the luminous creature spotted on level 19 is just another one of SuSAG's escaped experiments? Just how many of the mutant Vargrs got loose before the "accident"? How many are still roaming the station? And are they hungry?

Regent by Day - Harlot by Night!
Corina Ling-Raleigh's double life exposed!
Although everyone knows her as the Regent of Regina, it appears that Corina Ling-Raleigh is passionate about more than social causes. The Laughing Cadaver is not where you would expect to find some one of the upper classes, certainly not working, but that is apparently what our Reform Regent was doing late last night. Almost, but not quite, unrecognizable in her "street clothes", the lovely Corina was not dressed in her usual conservative fashion, but she was definitely still a cut above the usual ladies of the evening in that part of Up Port.
(See centerfold for photospread.)
Have the pressures of governing Regina been too much? Has Corina's past drug abuse caught up with her again, sending her spiraling downward into an abyss of debauchery and sexual perversion? How many of the men who approached her last night in corridor or smoky interior of the seedy bar saw more of the Regent than she would like us to know?
"Ms. Ling-Raleigh is exhibiting characteristics that could indicate a deeply disturbed psyche. It could even be that she herself is unaware of what she is doing, that she is shielding her conscious mind behind a secondary personality. "
Mutant Super-Vargr Shock Troops Engineered by SuSAG Assault Laboratory!
While the local authorities call it an "industrial accident", and SuSAG screams about an "outside attack" on their operations on Regina, the Regina Tattler has obtained exclusive information on what really went on in the wee hours of 013-1122. While Regina Up Port slumbers, SuSAG has been conducting clandestine experiments of a disturbing nature, tampering with genetic mutation in an attempt to create a race of mutant super-Vargrs to be used in future megacorp wars.
Information from a source inside SuSAG itself informs the Tattler that SuSAG's scientists have "bitten off more than they can chew" with this project, but refuse to give it up. The problems began when they increased the brain size of the constructs without allowing for an increase in the space inside the thickened skull. This has resulted in constant pain for the mutants, pain that eventually makes them dangerously unstable.
