Organleggers Active Again |
Suspected Cop Killer Cleared |
The body of visiting Vilani businessman and scientist Ebon Zhontak was found in his room in the Ambassadore Hotel. No marks were found on the body, but the brain had been carefully removed; "sugically" as one cop on the scene described it.
Zhontak, an employee of Infinity Medical, was on planet to attend a medical convention on the subject of prolonging life. Ironically for the organleggers, Zhontak was suffering from a degenerative nerve disease, Pyros Syndrome. Zhontak expected this convention to be his last. Zhontak is survived by his wife, Mabel, and 4 cats. |
Regina local Michael Griffin, former partner in the shadowy Palladium Group has been cleared in the murder of two prisoners and two police officers in what was originally believed to be an escape attempt after Griffin had been jailed for perjury following the Black hearings.
Commision Seymor Globber, handling the case, was quick to point out numerous inconsistencies in both evidence and witnesses that indicated Mr. Griffin's culpability. Globber indicated that a Synthetic human or cyborg was the most probable perpatrator. Police are continuing to investigate. |
